Sinobravo Addresses Southeast Asia Medical Device Regulatory Compliance at Seminar
October 18, 2024 — Ms. Allison Zhang, Head of Tax and Finance at Sinobravo, was invited as a keynote speaker to the "Medical Device Southeast Asia Regulatory Compliance Seminar," jointly organized by Baiying Group and Amazon Web Services (AWS). The seminar, supported by the Shenzhen Medical Device Industry Innovation Chain Party Committee and the Nanshan District Federation of Industry and Commerce (Non-Public Party Committee), aimed to assist medical device companies in understanding the safety and compliance requirements of the Southeast Asian market, sharing practical experience, and discussing overseas expansion strategies.
The event drew active participation from numerous medical device companies, with attendees arriving early to sign in and network enthusiastically. In his opening remarks, Chief Strategy Analyst at Baiying Group, Mr. Ai Zhong, expressed warm welcome and deep gratitude on behalf of the organizers and briefly introduced the background and significance of the seminar.
Mr. Yu Chang, Director of Life Sciences and Healthcare Solutions at Amazon Web Services, delivered a presentation titled "AWS' Overseas Toolkit," detailing how to leverage AWS's technology and experience to help companies tackle overseas challenges and achieve secure and smooth international development.
Mr. Niu Lingxuan, an overseas registration regulatory expert at Longde Medical Devices, provided an in-depth interpretation of the potential of the Southeast Asian market and corporate investment strategies. He detailed the regulatory requirements for medical devices in regions such as Vietnam and Singapore, offering valuable insights for companies to establish reasonable international registration strategies.
Mr. Wu Jian, an expert on medical device product lines at Zhongjian Huatongwei, shared the compliance requirements for Chinese medical devices entering Southeast Asian countries and regions, as well as solutions for global certification localization services. Through specific practical cases, he demonstrated the importance of testing and certification in the process of corporate overseas expansion.
Ms. Allison Zhang, Head of Tax and Finance at Sinobravo, analyzed and judged the risks in Southeast Asian countries and regions, providing effective tax planning advice for enterprises. Her practical speech, combined with case analysis, provided strong financial and tax support for participating companies.
