Sinobravo Speaks at the "Chuangxiang Exchange" Series on Southeast Asia Outbound Exchange

On December 18, 2024, Ms. Chen Rui, Head of Foreign Exchange Business at Sinobravo's Cross-Border Investment Consulting Department, and Ms. Xiong Qian, Head of Cross-Border Business, were invited to participate in the "Chuangxiang Exchange" Series on Southeast Asia Outbound Exchange, co-hosted by China Galaxy Securities, Beijing Sci-Tech Innovation Company, and CITIC Bank Beijing Chang'an Branch, where they delivered professional speeches.

At the event, Ms. Chen Rui and Ms. Xiong Qian, as keynote speakers, presented a professional sharing session titled "Path Selection and Compliance Practices for Enterprises Going Global." The two professionals discussed the opportunities and challenges faced by technology companies during their international expansion with over 40 representatives from enterprises and investment institutions, empowering Beijing's sci-tech fund ecosystem to better expand their business and set sail for international markets.

Ms. Chen Rui focused on sharing the latest developments in cross-border investment, the full compliance process of ODI (Overseas Direct Investment), and arrangements for cross-border debt financing. She provided an in-depth analysis of issues such as the investment entity in ODI foreign exchange registration, different filing principles or standards of development/commerce committees/foreign exchange, ODI capital outbound issues, and ODI capital contribution methods, drawing on practical experience.

Ms. Xiong Qian elaborated on the practical aspects of Chinese enterprises going global, particularly to Southeast Asia, covering different models of red-chip structure going global, considerations for actual operating locations abroad, path/holding company considerations, popular destinations for enterprises going global, and common choices for Southeast Asia outbound.

At the event, leaders from Beijing Sci-Tech Innovation Company delivered the opening remarks. Ms. Lan Chunyu, Head of Overseas Business Coordination at China Galaxy Securities Research Institute, and Mr. Hong Wei, Senior Product Expert at CITIC Bank Beijing Branch, also shared their expertise on "Enterprise Going Global Strategies and Practices in the New Era" and "International Business Service Solutions for Going Global," providing solutions for technology SMEs from the perspectives of securities firms and banks.
